Logistical information (English and Russian)

The Thirteenth Session of the Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA) provided an international platform for exchange on issues related to land administration and management. Representatives of the UNECE member States elected one Chairperson, two Vice-Chairpersons and additional Bureau members during the session. The session reviewed the implementation of the WPLA programme of work since the Twelfth Session in 2021, decided on the next programme of work for the biennium 2024-2025, and reviewed and approved the draft Terms of Reference for the period of 2025-2030. 

Moreover, the Working Party considered megatrends challenging governments in the UNECE region and beyond, including ecosystems and security in land administration. The session featured strategic discussions on accelerated digitalization and the future role of land administration as well as sustainable development and security of property rights in the region and beyond.
