Non-Observed Economy in National Accounts: Survey of Country Practices (2008)
This new UNECE publication presents an overview of practices of 43 countries in measuring the non-observed economy. Based on material collected by the UNECE Statistical Division in 2005-2006, it focuses on describing the methods used to measure the non-observed economy and includes examples and estimates of the share of non-observed economy in GDP.
