UN/CEFACT Mini-Conference on Trade and Transport Facilitation Monitoring Mechanisms (TTFMM)

UN/CEFACT Mini-Conference on Trade and Transport Facilitation Monitoring Mechanisms (TTFMM)

25 April 2016
Palais des Nations Geneva Switzerland

There is a need for countries to establish a standardized sustainable mechanism to monitor the effectiveness of policies and procedures that facilitate trade and speed up international shipments. In order to do that, an agreement about the metrics to measure the concept of trade facilitation and the methodology to extract information from the data will help governments, politicians, international organizations and stakeholders to identify solutions to streamline and optimize trade and transport process.
