Survey Questionnaire 2023

Purpose

The survey results allow the countries to monitor progress in the implementation of measures for sustainable and digital trade facilitation and serve as evidence base for policy-making helping to identify areas where efforts are most needed to address the remaining policy, legal, regulatory and technical obstacles as well as needs for capacity-building and technical assistance. The member States can benefit from other countries’ experiences and learn from good practices.

Scope

Through the Survey UNRCs collect and analyse data on the implementation of 60 detailed measures for sustainable and digital trade facilitation, including, but not limited to, those  of the World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement (WTO TFA).

The 2023 survey covers over 160 economies worldwide, while the UNECE regional report will analyse the progress in implementation of trade facilitation measures in 48 member States.

Results

The survey results are analysed and published in the form of reports — five regional (one per UNRC) and one global, available on the UN Global Survey on Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation Portal.
