Objectives:
- Coordinate, provide advice and contribute to the UNECE programme on population and housing censuses, aimed at supporting UNECE member countries in the preparations for the censuses of the 2020 round and the implementation of the CES Recommendations for the 2020 censuses of population and housing;
- Prepare an in-depth analysis on the future of population and housing censuses after the 2020 round, building on the work done at the EU level. This analysis will inform the recommendations for the 2030 round of censuses.
