The Bureau of the Conference of European Statisticians carried out an in-depth review of new forms of employment in February 2021.
The document presents a detailed overview of conceptual and statistical frameworks currently being used to understand and measure new forms of employment, and provides a review of international statistical activities in this area. In particular, the review offers an analysis of key issues and challenges related to measuring new forms of employment, in line with the most recent update of the International Classification of Status in Employment.
