The 13th meeting of the Task Force on Target Setting and Reporting under the Protocol on Water and Health reviewed progress by Parties and other States with target setting and revision under the Protocol. As the Task Force meeting was held back-to-back with the Strategic Roundtable on Increasing Resilience to Climate Change in the Water and Sanitation Sector (Geneva, 13-14 November 2023), participants reviewed the outcomes of the Roundtable and discussed how the strategic priorities identified can be reflected in target-setting under the Protocol.

Delegates were also informed on the progress with developing the Protocol online reporting system.

Finally, the meeting reviewed progress with the implementation of the water-, sanitation- and hygiene-related targets of the Sustainable Development Goals.
