About the event

The five UN Regional Economic Commissions and UN-Habitat have been working together on joint projects to support cities to strengthen capacities for urban planning and promote urban recovery, climate resilience and smart sustainable urban development. This event will allow representatives of national and local governments to provide testimonies of their experiences in overcoming natural and man-made disasters and achieving long-term urban resilience.
