This first meeting of the Working Group on Implementation since the seventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties (November 2012) was held in the morning and was followed in the afternoon by a joint meeting of the Bureau and the Working Group on Implementation.
The Working Group focused on: (a) planning the next round of reports by Parties on their implementation of the Convention; and (b) managing the Convention’s Assistance Programme through the review of self-evaluations and action plans submitted by countries.
