Halfway to 2030 since the adoption of the SDGs, the UNECE region is on track to achieve only 26 of 169 targets. As the region and the world face the multifaced impacts of interlocking crises, greater efforts are urgently needed to get on track for sustainable development.
Seventy-five years since the establishment of UNECE, the 2022 Annual Report highlights how the organization has been supporting countries to accelerate SDGs progress and respond to key sustainable development challenges, leveraging UNECE's practical normative tools and policy dialogue, and partnerships across the UN System and beyond.
