On 11 December 2023, the Special Envoy participated in the First High-Level Consultative Committee (HLCC) Meeting for the Fourth Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety at the WHO Headquarters in Geneva. The HLCC comprises representatives from governments, the UN, civil society organizations, private entities and academia. It is tasked with advising on strategic decisions related to the Ministerial Conference, such as the overall focus, program content and participants, side events, as well as the declaration.
