Joint Wood Energy Enquiry 2019

The Joint Wood Energy Enquiry seeks to provide information on sources and uses of wood energy.  It has 4 tables including fibre sources, processed wood-based fuels, sources of such fuels and consumption of wood energy by sector. This is the 2019 version and includes special tables to measure energy use of damaged (from bark beetle and other events) and to supply information for the EU's National Renewable Energy Action Plan (NREAP).
It is carried out by the ECE/FAO Joint Forestry and Timber Section, under the guidance of the Joint ECE/FAO Working Party on Forest Statistics, Economics and Management and with advice from the ECE/FAO Team of Specialists on Wood Energy as well as the EU, IEA and IRENA.
