6th Workshop on Water and Climate Change Adaptation in Transboundary Basins

13 - 14 September 2016
Salle VII, Palais des Nations Geneva Switzerland

Financing climate change adaptation in transboundary basins

The Sixth Workshop on Adaptation to Climate Change in Transboundary Basins took in the Palais des Nations in Geneva in room VII on 13 and 14 September 2016 back to back with the 8th meeting of the Task Force on Water and Climate (Geneva, 15 September 2016), under the leadership of the Governments of the Netherlands and Switzerland, with the support of the UNECE secretariat.

The workshop focused on financing climate change adaptation in water basins. It brought together water practitioners and authorities responsible for addressing climate change impacts, at the national and transboundary levels, with representatives of bilateral and multilateral donors, financing institutions and the private sector.
