On 6 December 2022, the Special Envoy met Ms. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General, World Trade Organization (WTO). Purpose of the discussion was to highlight priority areas to address road safety as a global and regional development challenge; note the link between road safety and the WTO agenda as well as to invite more cooperation; provide an overview of the UN milestones for global road safety.
