On 3 March 2023, the Special Envoy contributed to the UNRSF Platforms for Engagement Virtual Open Day. Through his remarks, the Special Envoy praised the encouraging achievements of the UNRSF, with 36 projects implemented in 46 countries during its first five years. Furthermore, he encouraged striving ahead and channelling much-needed road safety financing into more high-impact initiatives.
