On 22 June 2023, the Special Envoy delivered remarks at an event organized under the theme “Safe mobility and Agenda 2030”, by H.E. Mr. Vincenzo Grassi, Permanent Representative of Italy to the UN Office at Geneva, in the context of the Geneva Friends of the Special Envoy for Road Safety Network. The Special Envoy thanked all participants, including, among the others, H.E. Mr. Maurizio Massari, Permanent Representative of Italy to the UN in New York, H.E. Ms. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Permanent Representative of Thailand to the UN in Geneva, and H.E. Ms. Lotte Knudsen, Permanent Observer of the European Union Delegation to the UN in Geneva. This was the occasion to remind everyone about how critical it is to keep hands joined and fighting for safer mobility.
