On 20 January 2023, the Special Envoy met with Mr. Stephane Dujarric, Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General. On the occasion, the Special Envoy asked for support in promoting the UN road safety campaign launching in partnership with JCDecaux; explored possible joint efforts on communications with the Secretary-General; and discussed opportunities for engagement with media in New York, in view of the Special Envoy’s mission to the city planned for early 2023.
