On 20 January 2023, the Special Envoy met with H.E. Mr. Ahmad Faisal Muhamad, Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva. This was the opportunity for the Special Envoy to debrief on the mission to the country, held from 20 to 26 December 2022, as well as to ask for continuous follow-up with the Government towards acceding to the remaining five of seven UN Road Safety Conventions and engaging with the UNRSF.
