On 24 March 2021, the Special Envoy jointly met with H.E. Mr. Walter Stevens, Permanent Representative of the European Union to the United Nations Office and Other international organisations in Geneva and Ms. Olga Algayerova, Executive Secretary of the UNECE. The Special Envoy explored opportunities to increase funding to the UNRSF and followed up on support for road safety on the agenda of the Human Rights Council.
