On 24 January 2023, the Special Envoy participated in a joint meeting with the following Deputy Executive Secretaries of the five UN Regional Commissions. This was the occasion for the Special Envoy to exchange about the road safety progress in each region as well as to debrief on the previous year’s missions and ask for support on missions planned for 2023.

• Mr. Dmitry Mariyasin, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ECE;
• Mr. Raul Garcia Buchaca, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ECLAC;
• Mr. Kaveh Zahedi, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ESCAP;
• Mr. Mounir Tabet, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ESCWA.
