On 3 February 2023, the Special Envoy contributed virtually to an international event for safer streets in Albania organized by the General Directorate of Road Transport Services. Through his message, the Special Envoy congratulated the Government for placing road safety as a strong priority on its agenda. The latest national efforts toward safer streets had a meaningful impact on the lives of people and communities across the country. However, the Special Envoy urged continuing such efforts to achieve even greater results.
