40th UN/CEFACT Forum: Designing Digital Trust Graphs Using UN Tools and Methods

11 May 2023 14:00 - 17:30
Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland
Description

A classroom session for business domain experts to learn how to model “trust graphs” for business domains.  A trust graph is a model of stakeholders, value chains, and compliance claims & criteria in a sustainable and resilient supply chain. Trust graphs are implemented using decentralised architectures supported by verifiable credentials.

The first hour will present the key concepts using an example of carbon markets and national emissions management.

The remaining time will be used for attendants to try modelling their own business domain interests (eg. trade finance, critical raw materials traceability, etc).

Participants will be grouped into small teams with balanced business and technical skills.

Bring your laptops and be ready to have some fun whilst learning about this very critical emerging domain of digital trust.

Speakers
  • Steven Capell, Managing Director, GoSource Pty Ltd and UN/CEFACT project lead
  • Chris Gough, General Manager & Solution Delivery Lead, GoSource
