Sixth meeting of the Task Force on Water and Climate

The sixth meeting of the Task Force on Water and Climate took place in the Palais des Nations, Geneva, on 27 June 2013. It was held back-to-back with the Fourth Workshop on Adaptation to Climate Change in Transboundary Basins (Geneva, 25–26 June 2013).

The main objective of the sixth meeting of the Task Force was to discuss the implementation of the activities to be undertaken under the programme of work for 2013-2015 of the Water Convention in relation to climate change adaptation. These activities are to be implemented in the context of the global opening of the Water Convention to all the United Nations Member States, following the entry into force of the amendments to articles 25 and 26 of the Convention in February 2013.The report will be made available on this website in due course.
