On 1 December 2019, the Special Envoy met H.E. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
During this meeting, the Special Envoy shared his mandate and activities and advised road safety to be considered as a sustainable development issue. Furthermore, he briefed on the Uited Nations Road Safety Fund.
In conclusion, the Special Envoy referred to the upcoming 3rd Global Ministerial Conference in Sweden, recommending UAE’s attendance at the highest level.
