The Special Envoy gave opening remarks at the Fifth meeting of the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He highlighted his recent activities in addressing the global road safety challenge and emphasized the importance of road safety NGOs in addressing the issue. More than 200 road safety NGOs and stakeholders from over 70 countries participated at the meeting and renewed their commitment to engaging with governments and communities to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
