Exploring possibility of UN Road Safety Trust Fund during 2017 World Economic Forum

The Special Envoy met with a number of UN senior officials as well as with business community during the 2017 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland on 19 and 20 January 2017. The Special Envoy outlined his efforts as a Special Envoy, including his most recent country visits, road safety workshops, as well as global initiatives. The Special Envoy provided an update on the progress of a potential United Nations Road Safety Trust Fund. He met with the following officials:
