The Centre will develop and disseminate information on international best practices in public-private partnerships in various sectors (healthcare, education, water and sanitation, ICT, transport infrastructure etc). It will develop standards, methodologies and detailed case studies that can be used as models by policy makers.
Excellence is also not about complexity. It is about keeping things simple so that projects can be more easily implemented. The Centre will also provide information in a ‘no frills’ format – basic principles on legislation, concession and other contracts, bid documents, financing requirements and the core of a PPP programme.
