Twenty-five public and private organizations signed the Charter for Road Safety in the presence of the Minister of Public Infrastructure and Land Transport, Mr. Bodha, and the Special Envoy. The Charter established different actions and activities to be undertaken by public and private organizations in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Infrastructure and Land Transport toward the goal of reducing the rate of road crashes among employees. The Charter reinforces the commitment to road safety at work and defines principles aimed at preventing road risks to which employees are exposed. This includes sensitizing employees on the rules to be respected while using vehicles professionally and while commuting, and as pedestrians.
